WOW, I can't explain this enough. This amp is REDICULOUS.

My setup:

-Alpine 9835

-RE Audio 15 MT

-4.5 cubes NET @33hz, 90in^2 of port

Electrical:

-HO 220 amp Mean-Green alternator

-Kinetik HC2400

-Yellow Top D31

-1/0 rewire

I previously had TWO Modded MTX 1501d's on the MT (dual .7ohm) one on each coil. I swapped out temporarily for the IA 20.1 (HUGE thanks to Dave, aka speedyd!). I'm running the 20.1 amplifier @.35ohms, and it LOVES it. I can definitely say, to the ear...the 20.1 is louder than the pair of 1501d's. It doesn't even hit my electrical as hard as the pair of 1501d's did. It's never gotten hot yet, it's been lukewarm at best.

My truck seemed like it used to be solid. It has 120 sq. ft. of SS damplifier on it http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=92439 now acts like it wants to fall apart. heh.

Just wanted to give a real world review of the 20.1, and a little reference to how great it is. I can't wait to pick up a few for myself.

Head to head testing time against a zapco 9.0.

Hey SBLAZER, Tottie Johnson uses RE woofs and IA amps, and he's a shitload louder then you'll ever be...

That must mean, RE is louder then yer Type R and IA amps are louder then yer Orions, going by your back-*** logic.
