Monitor 1 amplifiers

I'm thinking about buying a Monitor 1 amplifier. It's the MK2.70 model and it has no crossovers built in. I'm going to be running some Rainbow SLC 265's for the front stage. Do I need an active crossover for this setup or can the Rainbow passive crossovers do the job?

You will need to "actively" highpass them...somehow. Either with the deck's internal crossovers (if it has any), or with an Fmod from partsexpress, or with an external active crossover.

Passives typically only have a network built into them to split the frequencies between the mid and tweeter, but not to highpass the mid.

Alright I looked at the FMod crossovers from partexpress. They come in different frequencies though. Which frequency would I need? I don't know much about crossovers.

I'm also looking at a US Amps USA 150 amp. It's a black one. It has a subsonic crossover and it has a sub frequency knob that goes from 50 to 500hz at 24 decibels. Can this amp be used to power the Rainbow component speakers or is it just a subwoofer amp? I think the ouput is 75W x 2 at 4 ohms. It comes with a remote sub control knob.
