LS1 is an engine, Vtec is a technology...hardly comparable...

vtec is only variable valve lift technology......not a bible. its only to get better gas milage on those cars. if honda wanted they could just run a cam with a profile similar to the one when vtec is on in a traditional style head. lt1 on the other hand (and ls1) have the ability to make A LOT more power and still do good gas milage on the highway. i took a trip to albany not long ago in my friends 95 z28 with a few small mods and got 29 mpg while half the trip was done at 90 mph. so lt1/ls1>vtec.... there's less parts to break.

Im tired all of all these **** pos riced out civics. If your gonna mod your car, make it fast, then make it look good. im so tired of seeing giant wings and fart can exhausts. if it looks good and goes fast, then ill give ya props, but not until then.
