In college not working?

i thought about doing that but i got to many bills and they need to be payed off, but if you can its a great idea, school is more important than work, unless u have to fuel ur vengance for car audio

it depends if you need the money or not. if you don't need the money then it wouldn't hurt to quit but if you think you can handle working and going to school at the same time, then again why not do it.

for me, during school i didn't work. to pay for stuff i worked during the summer and just used that money along with help from the parents to pay for stuff.

If you can, I think you shouldn't work and just finish school asap. I've been working through college and it's really slowed me down. I'm in my 5th year and have about 1 1/2 years left. A couple of my friends didn't have to work and they've been done since last year and they have jobs that pay pretty good and don't have to deal with school anymore. Oh yeah, working and college = lots of stress. If you can save yourself the stress, I think you should go for it. You can work all you like after college at a career you want to be at. Just go to class and use your free time to study and hang out with friends and of course car audio... Good luck!

Nah, Id have to have more money. Got bills and stuff, but if you dont have any bills and have some money saved up. You could probly do it. I didnt want to be a poor college kid, like the stories you always hear.

if you can.. dont work.. me i only work like 12 hours a week.. just enough to pya my car payment (needed new car for 120 mile commute).. my parents give me the rest of the money i need for bills/food/gas.. If they would pay my car payment, i wouldnt work at all..

yea i think if i work and go to college ill be stressed or either i do the work but wont understand it ya kno? but i dont have bill to pay but i would like to get some new subs lol i think i will quit thanks for the help! if anyone else has any opinions on this it would be greatly appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That's exactly what I do now. The only bill I have is gas so I can live off what I made over summer during the school year, and my parents give me a little cash every once in a while so that helps too.

Full time student, EE major, and 2 part time jobs.
Finally, someone with some pride. I did the same thing except I am a finance major. The only time I didn't go full time was when I had an internship with the state legislature. I still retained the PT job. I graduated in 4.5 years as number 1 finance student in my class.

You should **** it up and work.

HOWEVER, if my parents would have either paid for college, or for fun, I wouldn't have worked as much.
