I have just decided to do something about the factory junk in my 97 Ford Ranger. I want to put a nice CD player and maybe an amp in it. I also want to know how to boost weak signals in my area. Any ideas?

if you have a local radio shack store! you can get a FM amplifier for around 10 dollars and it will boost it by 10 db... if that's not enough... buy a car receiver that have around 3db boost on FM signal, so you can have better reception, if you are talking about the weak signal on the FM channel, I don't know about AM, neither I listen to it... but if you receiver weak signal on FM, then the signal booster will help you alot!
