I'm on a budget and I need 6,000 watts

Sundown SAZ1500 and 3000

Great amps rock solid. I run my 3000 at 10mh daily and it barely gets warm.

And beyond that Jake stands behind them like no other. Customer support is worth the weight in gold

I know that sundown is the shiznit. Like I said I am going to see if I can get my subs rebuilt to an ohm load that I can use 1 amp. so far the Jbl crown 6000gti is my favorite. As far as smaller amps I like sundown,Mmatts,Planet Audio Big Bang,Atomic,Eartquake, and etc.

I wonder has any one used those cerwin vega xl amps? I really impressed with the crunch3000pd as well as massive audio and the audiopipe amps. These amps look good on paper but what about actual use. has anyone used these amps?

Ok the specs look pretty good but does it realy perform at the level advertised.? Alot of amps boast huge power rating but barley do half of what they suppose to do. On paper trhis lanzar amp seems very nice. Accordi ng to these specs it would be a grea buy if I couls find one cheaper than $900

Jumpin ja hose afatt! What the heck are you building? A weapon of mass destruction? What ever it is I would love to see and hear that. I probably can hear it from were I'm at now. Good luck on that project. Much respect for the father and son QT project. "I tell ya it's car audio that brings familys closer together". America take note, If car audio can bring a familty closer together then imagine what it can do for a nation". Car audio can heal the world and make it a better place for me and for you and the entire human race":peace:. lol! nah for real that's cool what you are doing with your son. If you don't mind me asking what subs are you going to be using? Also were did you see those crunch amps for $450? I might want to pic one or two up for that price.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

lol...yeah. i'm into overkill. i can never do anything in my life half way. i want to build something like galacticmonkey's van, but with less expensive components. as for which other components i'll be using, i'm not sure. we were thinking about FI subs, but all of this will ultimately depend on the budget my boss (wife //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) sets for me.

my son is a junior this year and wants to get into engineering, but isn't sure whether mechanical (designing cars, etc.) or electrical (car audio, etc.). i'm hoping to help him make up his mind. i know the basics of car audio installation, but nothing quite like what we are about to tackle. i need to spend some time reading up on installs, etc. so i don't fry thousands of dollars worth of equipment by hooking it up wrong. any ideas where a good place to start getting some theory, etc. on car audio installation? i'm going to need some help with wiring, power, box design, etc.

i just googled GP3000d-Pro and found it at onlinecarstereos.com for $450 and yonies.com for $465. i'm hoping the cost will be even less if i buy 10 of them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

massive audio p3000.1

or

buy my RF t40001bd for 500 and get it fixed for a 100 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Crunch GP3000D is out of stock on onlinecarstereo until sometime in August as it is in 95% of other online stores. Maxxsonics won't actually have any in hand again until August or so, so only luck I had and the way I got mine was from an eBay store, where I called the guy up and asked to make sure he had one ON hand ready to ship.

They are great amps though, I havn't hooked mine up yet but from the testing I've seen on other sites they are great. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

(I ended up paying ~500 for mine)

That's cool build. FI are some serious subs. The BTL and The Q fully loaded are the subs most purchased. I think the SSD is a great sub to do a multi sub setup ona tight budget. Of course you could do eight fully loaded BTL's and get your steve meade on. either way good luck with that project. Make sure you take some pics and perhaps a youtube vid to let us see that monster mobile. I hope this build helps your son make up his mind for school because "a mind is a terrible thing to waste" "as well as time and money" MIT is a great school for engineering.

Dang everytime something affordable and efficent is on the market people flock to it and buy it all up before I can get mine.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif All the audioque 2500 amps are sold out and the 3500 isn't comming out until august. It's not a problem cause I'm not ready for the amp yet. I can wait on it. I don't need the amp just yet. I would love to get two of those crunch amps to save money. You cann't beat 6,000 watts for less than $1000. I still like that Jbl 6000gti very much but a used one still going to cost me $1500-$2000ea. I might try one of those massive audio amps or two DD m3's. There are so many possiblites. I won't know for sure wich way to go until I get my subs back from geting rebuilt by DD.

the opti does rated power and more

there is a member on here ( i think his name is MassiveaudioCW) who has done extensive testing with the amp, talk to him
Thanks for the info bro. I will check it out. Like I said I'm open to all suggestions.
