if i wanted to strap two of these together what kind of rms could i be looking at...

625W x 1-Ch @ 4-Ohms

1250W x 1-Ch @ 2-Ohms

2500W x 1-Ch @ 1-Ohm Dynamic Music Watts

i dont think two of these would produce 5000rms at 1 ohm....at no $440 shipped i dont believe...

im trying to get something to power an AQ HDC 18...and im stuck on two of these or the GP3000...

The 3000d in that line is the same as all the other ones maxxsonics makes ( hifonics, autotek )and they do rated power, not sure ont he 2500watt version, sorry I cant help more

to the OP:

the link clearly says 2500 MAX watts. I wouldn't count on getting 5k from two of these strapped, more like 2500.

It says 625-1250RMS

The 2500D is an entry level model and will do 1250w RMS.

a strapped pair will be hard pressed to produce 2500w and will be 2 ohm stable strapped.

The 3000D Pro is a high end model and can do almost 4000w if you have the voltage.

A strapped pair can be run at 1 ohm and you will get over 8000w with a strapped pair.

I Have Tested The Gp3000 And Ill Tell You It Did The Same Numbers As My American Bass 200.1 As Follows

.25/18v 4 Powermaster Batts=5600 Watts Clamped

That Was Good Enough Off 1 Amp To Win Me A World Championship Last Year In 0-600 Prostock At 159.6 Db's.

We Did Have A 160.2 Before Finals But A Crx Only Holds Up In The Back Wall For So Long Before You Start To Destroy Them Oh Well All In All These Are Both Great Amps.
