Im new to aero ports, can someone help me with them for a DD 9515

Mine are 48.7 square inches 7.875 diameter. but i dont think you could fit one in your box if its a center console. the outside diameter is 12"

it the one i bought from you martin port length w/ flares is 19.5 taking that into account i think its like 39hz sounds good high bass notes have insane authority lows have the authority but i need more power to move the sub and dc might finally stop flaggin my alt. ill take some pics tomorrow and put them up here

You are correct to a point. Going to a "round" port with no flares you would need the same port area as a slot port. But going to a aeroport or flared port that has round center you can get a way with a lot less port area due to the efficiency of an aeroport. A single 6" in a 4cf box you'd be fine but if you go to 4.5cf you'd want a little bigger port. I've done a 7.5" aeroport in a 4cf box for a single 9515 and it was a hair to much port for a box that size. Was loud and sounded good but could have used a little more low end and if I used a 6" that would have helped.
