lol... no. Bad info ITT. That is NOT how you test your rise. That is a good way to wreck a DMMset it to ohms while it was playing and read the meter at the speaker terminals and it never went about .7-.8
Yes I know about efficiency, yes I know that amps are less efficient at a lower ohm load but I dont think its as big of a difference as you think especially when you put any power to it and you rise well above your resting impedance anyway. Just because it rests at .5 ohm doesn't that the amp sees .5 ohms when it's playing.
