I'm done running a .5ohm load

2500 watts is 2500 watts regardless of impedance. I don't see this helping you out a whole lot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
You clearly missed the point. Just because an amp says 2500 watts doesn't mean it's putting out 2500 watts. Also the efficiency determines how much current the amp has to draw to make that amount of power. If one amp is more efficient than another, it can put out more than the other on a limited electrical system.

ohms law ftw

just like my honda alt. when i do my bassrace runs i just turn my ac on so the alt has a load on it, and on hard bass notes i will stay above 13 at idle.
Mine will do that when it wants to, its those times when it dont want to and Im not paying attention that bite me

maybe we need to over exaggerate for him.

amplifier 1: a blown rf t2500-1bdCP, does not work, has 0% efficiency.

amplifier 2: an amp made by jesus that puts out 2500 watts 100% of the time, has 100% efficiency.

so does this mean, according to you, that all amps put out the same power the box says, that amp one will have the same amount of voltage drop as amp 2? no because there is a difference in efficiency.

That isn't true? ^^^ Apparently I feel like arguing today.
You might feel like arguing, but do you feel like looking foolish? You referenced two different amplifiers rated at 2500w. Then you made the statement that changing to a different 2500w amp won't help because "2500w is 2500w". I realize you want to try and take your comments out of context so that we can debate something that seems to you to be infallable. I could even prove you wrong on that discussion when I bring up things like clipping and distortion... but we won't go there. We will keep it in context just so anyone else reading this won't be baffled by your bs.
