Screw this! Kicker ZX2500 in route. Even with a beefed up electrical it was to much to keep up with. I figure with the voltage drop i was getting I wasnt making over 2K of my Crescendo BC2K so the ZX should be a upgrade running at 2ohms

If the amp is designed to run at .5 then its no big deal.

Your electrical wasn't beefed up that much if your voltage was dropping on only 2500w @ .5. I run a DD Z2lv at .7 ohm all day and don't drop period. When I say doesn't drop, I mean there is literally no perceivable drop. We're above 14v at all times.

I got 3 YTs and a EA 200 amp. Its my ****** VCM it dont kick on until Im in the low 12s. The batts keep it at 12.6 normally. It only charges at 13.6 sometimes 13.8

You would think so, but I guess not. I know my car has a **** ground chassis also so that dont help

Im going to but not yet. Ill have to pull the carpet up and run it down the center stack

I have drop with almost the same electrical on 3k @ 1

should be the efficacy ratio is quite a bit higher. on the kicker.

I've had good luck with the ZX amps(06-08 models). I dont have many options for a 2ohm load. Im not forking out $900 for he RF and the JBL dont make as much power.

im running 2500 watts on a dc 185 amp oem style alt and i stay above 14 while driving. at idle the hard hitting songs drop it to high 12's though. but as soon as i hit the gas the tiniest bit it jumps back up to 14's

I can hit the gas and it dont change at all. I can sit at idle and crank it for 5 minutes and stay above 13 or a day later I can do the same thing and drop to the low 12s in a few seconds

XS power has those new VCMs you need. My buddy has the same issue
