Eric Stevens Q700.2 vs Audison LRX vs Zapco Ref 750.2 vs JL Audio 450/4

Looking for a SQ amp (probably used) for my Hertz MLK 165s... would these be a coin flip or is one better than the other?

Running a Jl Audio 500/1 to my IDMAX. If I got an Audison LRX 5.1k I would sell the JL and use it for my whole system, but I've heard people being dissatisfied with how their sub sounded on the 5.1k. If I got the JL Audio 450/4 I would be biamping the Hertz or going completely active. With the Q700.2 and Zapco I would obviously be running passive.

The 5.1k is a great amp. Zapco is also nice.

If I got the Q700.2 or Zapco 750.2 I would be staying passive.

If I went the Audison LRX 5.1k or JL 450/4 I would probably try active.

With the 5.1k though, I would be sending 1150rms to my 12IDMAX V3D4 ported lol, seems a bit high. Would almost rather trade it for a D2 so I could give it the 750 @ 4ohms. Or "sidegrade" to a DD 2512 and sell the IDMAX . I could get the 5.1k for $800, and then sell my current 2 amps for $400, another Alpine M1000 I have for another $200, and then I'm only out $200.

Lots to think about, wish there were more people on here that had experience with these. Any suggestions where I should look?

Do you have any experience with the IDMAX sound vs DD 2500 sound?

Might want to try over at DIYma, they have all kinds of experience with these amps. The DD will not sound nearly as clean as the Max...
