I'm a bit confused...

I just picked up a PPI 2025AM. I've been told that the AM series was white while the M series is black. Well my 2025am is black and shows no indication that it was painted. Is this just normal or did PPI screw this one up? I can shoot some pics if anyone needs them. Thanks guys.

Maybe I can help... I was using the PPI M-series when they first came out, as far as I can remember, they only came in black. The AM-series (which I think stands for "Adaptive MOSFET") had some extra protection added, and was available in black or white.
