I have not read the whole thread just yet, but I have been dead from a Drinking and Driving accident on a motorcycle and reading this
"Gauntlet, I think one reason things like that happen are that the innocent people die because they are right with God, and dont need a second chance. I think God may put his hand in it and spare the drunk person, trying to give them a second chance to get their lives right instead of letting them die in "bad standing" with him so to speak. Thats one question I've had and one answer I've come up with. The only thing that gets me is that God knows all, past, present and future, so why would he give a second chance to a guy he knows would never reform and keep damaging and hurting other innocent people. I dunno, theology, it's a tough thing"
and I totally agree. I was on the wrong path and going way to fast in my life and after being declared dead at the scene, brought back to life at the scene by someone in the crowd(who held my lifeless body, broken jaw and Sucked the blood from my mouth to clear the passage and gave me CPR to bring me back to life.) which I died again in the ambulance and then again in the hospital after a cardiac arrest. Then a coma for 2 weeks. I KNOW GOD has a reason for why we are here and why he takes us. My mother who never did anything but great things in her life, suffered MS for 15 years before dying and all she did was good.
Sorry for the rant, but I know there is a reason things happen. I now have three beautiful kids and a wonderful wife and my life is only going to get better.
My only ?? is what is next?
