Actually, yes I do.if you call not offering a warranty looking the other way.....
Okay, you can believe what you like but I don't see how you can exclude the possibility that this is all done with the manufcturer's knowledge or at the least willful ignorance.maybe they should trace serial numbers? lol like those don't get removed.
how far do people go to tranship? hmmm somewhere down the line if you wanted to be kgb about it i suppose the manufacturer could. only thing is pissing off a large buyer and being wrong would probably mean them losing a large buyer..Okay, you can believe what you like but I don't see how you can exclude the possibility that this is all done with the manufcturer's knowledge or at the least willful ignorance.
Maybe, maybe not. But when the warranty costs me 40-60% of the cost of the product I will risk it.how far do people go to tranship? hmmm somewhere down the line if you wanted to be kgb about it i suppose the manufacturer could. only thing is pissing off a large buyer and being wrong would probably mean them losing a large buyer..way i look at it is if someone buys it unauthorized they should just shut up if their shit breaks...if you gamble you are bound to lose sometime:laugh:
there is more to it than just warranty. does your local dealer ship to your house or do you go to the shop? what would the dealer do if the W7 he pulled out of the warehouse had a cracked frame? he would probably just go back and get you one that wasn't broken...buying it your way can cause a huge headache for yourself. shipping costs, waiting to see if your unauthorized dealer can or will replace it then what about technical support?Maybe, maybe not. What would you like for me to do for you?Rollover, bark and beg for a treat? I called you out, and yet again.....you failed to provide useful info.Yeah I have zero business sense because you said it. Great job //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif. Now tell me why. Looks like all you can is put together a poorly worded flame and ask for proof. You are comparing one of the most highly regarded SQ subs to a sub a lot of people say is poorer than its earlier counterpart (w6) and costs supposedly $1000. It's no contest why the IDMax is better. It sounds better, it costs 50% of the other sub's supposed "value" and it may take less power but its more sensitive and will go head to head and perform identical/better to the "$1000" speaker. You'd have to be dumbass to buy that driver under the circumstances.
Also, for shits and giggles: http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/headtohead/w7.cfm
Think what you want of me but you can't even justify the shit you say. Yeah I'm smarter than most shops - who are you?
I don't see the big advantage of me going to the shop. I am usually working during their normal business hours and when I get there the soundboards do not work (or if they do it is such a poor representation of what the product will sound like in my car that it is meaningless). The sales staff is typically so poorly trained that the customer has to bite his tounge so as not to humiliate the poor guy. The products sold are mostly "entry level." The installation is pure crap. Shipping costs are offset by taxes.there is more to it than just warranty. does your local dealer ship to your house or do you go to the shop? what would the dealer do if the W7 he pulled out of the wanrehouse had a cracked frame? he would probably just go back and get you one that wasn't broken...buying it your way can cause a huge headache for yourself. shipping costs, waiting to see if your unauthorized dealer can or will replace it then what about technical support?

I know there are good shops out there, but they are not typical in smaller markets. That has been my experience at least.
