Ideas for rear deck

I removed the ear deck of my 07 Lucerne so I can fire my subs and port through the opening. I want to seal it off from the rest of the trunk.

I have the box built already and I'm thinking of a way to build the box into the deck. I was going to raise the box up through and level to the opening but there is a seat belt bracket that is in the way that i didn't account for in the original plan.

So now I'm thinking of building vertical walls attached to the underside of the opening that reach down to the box and dealing it off that way. Anyone have any ideas?

The rear deck consists of three parts. The cover, which has the OEM 6*9 openings, a back up indicator, carpeting and plastic trim for the seat belts. This part covers the whole deck.

The rest is underneath that and is the metal frame that extends out from the rear pillar on either side about 6" and holds some electrical and the window side seatbelts. This is what you see in these pics

The center part extends from one side to the other and fills in the space. This is the plastic part that is removed and also has the holes for the 6*9's. This part I do not plan on using unless it will be useful.
