ideas for getting louder

I would just tune a lil higher, really no reason to tune so low. I would go for 32 hz and it should get a lil louder. I would also put more power to them. If thats not loud enough, time to upgrade. How about some 3004spls? The 12's will get plently loud and low off of 1400 watts!
Why not shop around and ask the forum or use the search button.

well im almost at the max rated watts for the 2504's and if i were to buy new subs and make a new box i would want a different brand of sub. I dont really have the means to just go buy new ones every time i want something different.

Anyone reccomend a good sub besides the ones i have?

I think you're kind of missing the fact that you are going to have a VERY hard time drowning out your voice with bass (unless you get to an extreme competition level, but we won't go there). Your voice is in a range about 500-5,000 Hz (I said about) usually. Bass is nowhere near that. You need to get rid of your stock speakers and get some good coaxes or comps, and amp them. I just really think that if you get new speakers the amount of volume you hear will be much much louder.

Speakers I would recommend are Pioneer Revs or PG RSDs (insane midbass for price).

Does anyone agree with me?

Think about what you just said. If the reason his voice isn't drowned out by the bass from his subwoofers is because of the difference in frequency levels, then how could bass drown out mids or tweeters? The difference is in the actual output levels. Either this guy sings freakishly loud in his car, or his subs just aren't loud enough according to his criteria. And no, it doesn't exactly take "competition level" bass to drown out voices at talking or singing levels in the car.

I do agree that he should definitely upgrade his speakers.
