Ideas for dd 9512...

So I have a new 2016 Dodge Dart that I'm throwing a dd9512 in. I'm not really sure about amp as of now. I'm stuck between dd m1 or dd m2. I was looking at the box plans on dd site and the are cool but I'm not sure about the box port to the side of the truck rather then front or back. If anyone has plans that will work that work be great. I would like to use something that has been used so I don't blow the sub. ThanksView attachment 26556339

Better yet. Is ok to go with dd box plans with the port being on the side? If it will be cool I'll just build that as I had planned

Do the DD box and put the port where you want it. Just go as big as possible with internal airspace.

You won't go wrong with the DD plans (use the largest size they recommend for your sub), port to the side generally works well in trunks. If you're chasing numbers you WILL need to test all sub/port orientations anyway, if you are not port placement should be barely audible difference.

That type of sub likes big box, big port, and high-ish tuning DD recommends the box they do for a reason.
