Ideas about subs

I have recently Bought 2 Volfenhag 10" dvc subs, both with 800 peak a piece and 400 rms. I know that Volfenhag doesnt have that great of a rep. but they hit pretty hard.

Im looking to have a major upgrade but i dont know where to start. Can anyone help me find a good combination.

I have a chevy Blazer, so room shouldnt be an issue at all. im actually going to attemp to build a fiberglass box(once i figure everything out). i would like to keep it under around $400-$500.

**Im kinda new at all of this, but when would you need to get like a HO alternator and/or a second battery??

I want something that hits alot harder than Volfenhag's. It almost seems like they have a lag when there is a pulsing signal going to them.

If your looking to spend 500 total... but still be pretty loud, best bet would either be a pair of L7 12"s/Type R 12"s and about 2kw. Maybe an Opti2000d, or something hifonics. A3000db is a pretty good amp too.
