ID max 12" good for SQ????

looking to match these subs with my idq8 midbass drivers and horns. i noticed on their web site they kept on babling about spl. i have a tahoe ya think two of these bad boys powered by a power house 2 ch giving them a thousand watts a piece is too much for a metal-head. i hope these have a clean sq sound my mtx 7500's are garbage for sq!! well it's probally my sorry down-fire box built by hifi buys~~

what do you mean on the small side-think i should run ported. sub any good for sq i dont want to over do it

1000 watts each is getting towards the high end imo.

IDMax is all about SQ.

i have 500 watts going into 2 idmax's sealed right now, just bought an amp that will push 900-1000 watts into each, i'll let you know how it sounds with 1000 watts into them, i'm sure they will pound
