Choices... Need help deciding on setup.

Car: Expedition XLT 4x4

Alternator Power: 180A

Leased

What I'm looking for is SQ, but the loudness will come natural //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Need some help deciding on subs and an amp to go along with both.

2 x 12" RE XXX's

Or

2 x 12" Brahma's

Also, what amp would do the best job powering either of these?

Any recommendations on a head unit or just wire in a converter?

Stock component speakers are nice and I wouldn't want to swap them out anyway because it’s a lease.

welcoem to the site, but the brahma vs XXX comparison has been beaten into the ground a few times, use a search on them and you will find more info than you might need

I have, SQL = Bramha SPL = XXX but with also good SQL im just looking for ideal amp to power them.

well if you search you'd see the most common(and cheapest) amp to be used it the hifonics bx1500d, could just buy 2 of those and one to a sub. Or if you really wanted to pound there is a couple of people selling the orion 2500d (more expensive but stick one of those to each sub and you'd pound)

For the normal person, a BX1500 would work well and probably be plenty loud enough. But, you will soon come to realize that noone on this site is normal and 2500 watts per sub would be awesome!!!

And yes, RE does make their own amps, just go to http://www.reaudio.com and check them out. Not sure if they are on the site yet, but atleast you could call and find out.

Well, you won't get the full power from that amp, but give or take a few...

750 per brahma should move it nicely, the XXX may want a little more though. If I were you, I would invest a little more into an amp and you will be better off in the future. No need to upgrade power if it is not meeting your demands. A single 2000 watt amp would do nicely in both situations. PM me.
