IA 40.1 questions

I tried searching and i wasnt about to click on every single thing that popped up about the 40.1s but i did skim through alot and didnt find my answer so maybe someone can help me real quick.

Can they handle a .5ohm load in a daily driver?

How much power are they known to put out at 1ohm (not rated, because i know they are underrated) and .5ohms

Would two 20.1s strapped put out more power @ .5 ohms?

I run one of mine at 1 ohm for daily and should just go back down to a 20. Have you plotted your impedance rise? You're most likely going to be above 1 ohm anyway.

I got more out of my 40 than 2 20's, but it wasn't really a fair comparison since I was at retarded low impedance.

naw i havent plotted out the rise yet. Im still trying to make a decision on what i want to run. I think possibly a 40.1 on 4 BL 15s or two 20.1s strapped on the BL 15s.

I wouldn't recommend .5 for daily driving on the 40.1

id do the 20.1s strapped at one ohm so each amp sees .5

i havent heard ne results from people clamping a 40.1

might have to clamp mine one day.

From what I ahve been reading you can ran a 20.1 below 1 ohm for DD, When I ever get mine hooked up I will be running it 0.5 ohms for the SX's
