That is correct, this is the first offering from the SAE series. This series is made to meet ratings exactly and will probably appeal more to buyers at brick and mortar stereo shops, although I am opening this pre-order online since people have expressed interest online. The SAX and SAZ series both meet and exceed all ratings for power and impedance stability and this series is one "below" and will be geared more towards budget buyers.

I could get pics of the proto SAE-1000D, but cosmetics have changed since then. The production units look like the proto SAE-50.4 and SAE-75.2 models (pics on forum) except they DO have the part number on them, SAE-1000D whereas the proto amps before have no part numbers on the,

i rock the 1000D proto, and let me tell you, it been very good to me and my fi q.

im gonna buy a 2nd and strap them at 1800 @ 2 ohms

Just curious, cause I think it would be really cool, but will you guys do another extensive power testing on the 3000D? The power testing thread on the 1500D is the most useful and comprehensive of any similar amplifier on any forum I have seen. Keep up the good work.

The 3000D is pending testing, should be getting done next week.
