I am not in any way trying to say anything Bad about IA or these 20.1 amps, I jsut wish everyone would try to keep an open mind.

it seems to me that everyone that currently owns a 2500d will defend it until they die............at least until they try out our amp. I have not seen 1 person that went from a 2500 to a 20.1 that has stuck with the 2500. Now, you say that you wish for everyone to keep an open mind....well, why dont you keep an open mind, and not be the one to try and defend your all mighty 2500d when you have no knowledge of what the other amp is capable of

Anyways...

I owned a 2500d for about 3-4 months...it was the biggest piece of shit I ever owned. I was running it at 1ohm daily for my XXX18, I had a 200amp alt, red top, and yellow top. The thing would straight up SHUT off when the bass hit real hard...it was rediculous. I took it out of my truck, and used a modded 1501d instead. I don't regret my decision either.

The 20.1 will straight up OWN the 2500 in most installs. The 20.1 is capable of putting out HIGH voltage while also putting out high amperage as well. The 2500d can't do that, it'll shit itself.

Not that you need to do it, but the 20.1 is capable of running down to CRAZZZZY low ohm loads. Right now, I'm running the one I have in my truck (thanks Jason) @.35ohms daily...and it LOVES it. I drove for about 2 hours to columbus, bumping it hard the entire way...and the amp got LUKE WARM...that's it...ask Jason (UCP) or Mike (IwantseXXX) or Tim (TimB).

Also...ask Gorman about how his amps like DEATH MATCH...AHAHAHAHAH. Ask him...

On a side note my teammates and I would always let any one take pictures and measure and do anything else they want. o point in trying to hide something, If they could get a better score with the same sdesign more power to them. Hopefully they would share with us what they did differently in exchange though. With everyone hiding everything how are things going to evolve.

3rd. I'm not agreeing with you at all.....Gorman did have more power has Scottie was down 6 to 8 amps (3 to 4 coils, 2 per). So yes Gorman did have more power 16 2500's to 8 or 10 20.1's

There is a reason you hide things - unless you spent countless hours working and designing a box only to have someone steal it in 3 second and come beat you with it you wouldn't understand. Every competitor you can name in Super Street has tried to see in Scotties van....No one is up Scotties ***....Give credit where credit is due. I will stand here and tell you Gorman is loud and so is the rest of his team.

Sounds like maybe user error as I have never seen that happen to the 1000 or so 2500d's that has went through my hands. They can be power hungry and can run at low ohms no problem IF you know how to use them properly. Maybe you just didnt have enough experience with it.

The only reason Scotty won DM is because he tested and new at point to hold it at with out a failure(Never even broke into te 160's)Dunno if Gorman practiced for deathmatch at all but I do know Bob didnt and he was trying to hold it wide open for the whole 5 minutes, didnt quite work, lol. Scotty used some smart thinking to take it. No problems with that he seems like a smart guy even though he has never won a db drag world final.

How about looking at it like this, lets look at 2 vehicles that competed against each other at db drag world finals. Gorman Cassidy using the 2500d's and Scottie Johnson using the IA 20.1's. I believe Gorman won and they share a world record. So they seem to be pretty equal right? Although everyone seems to be stuck up scotties *** and seems to think he has better designs and a better builder so that must mean Gorman one with pure power since they are using the same subs right? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If you want to win...you don't share your design. Let the other people figure out the best design for themselves...fuck them...I mean...you spend COUNTLESS hours of your time and hardwork...who the hell would openly straight up give out their design. Maybe you're not as competitive...never been a World Champion..I don't know. Do you have any idea of the amount of time and money, and TIME....and TIME...oh...and did I say TIME put into the vehicle? Like you said, I guess you have no idea.

Again IF that is true that is great and hope to see some good #'s at SBN. I am not going to agree with you on it though because I havent seen the numbers put up and I dont believe everything people say. yeah i'd rather have proof.

Never did say scotty wasnt loud or he didnt deserve the credit he gets. Just trying to open minds. Never said anything bad about your amps or him. Still no excuse for hiding things, If someone beats you it's cause they are louder plain and simple and if they yuse your designs to do it you should get some of the credit but shit happens and not everyone is a truly honest and decent person. Hiding stuff is just something me and my teamates dont do for the fans and for the evolution of car audio.

Oh I definately know and i also know I dont have the time to do it by myself. Boy if you only knew how much money I blew last year and wasnt even a serious contender. But my teammates are and some are current and former World champs and record holders. And they do and will also let anyone look at anything and try to help anyone out.
