Lol, true. Although, from a person or a store? Because ill get two if I can get them from a store on ebay. Lol better go check ebay.... Although, I dont want the amp to have to cost me my arm.

i dont think he has a lot of power iirc
er...? I dont even have an amp yet, if thats what you mean.

If that seems way too loud, go with a sealed box.

No worries about it NOT being loud enough for you, and you'll have awesome low end and sq to boot.

Maybe try a sealed type-x, even, rather than 2 type-r's.

The SQ and lowend is insane, i love it. And it's designed to be a long travel linear excursion sub, so you wont lose a ton of outputgoing sealed, i think you'd be happy.

hmm, ill look into that. but isnt sealed bad for subs, because of pressure on both sides of the sub I read that somewhere.

Oh well, awesome, thanks alot dude, ill check into that type -x although, i really want to have two, so if they are to oloud, then i will go sealed.

No, sealed and ported enclosures work the same way, a ported enclosure just has a tuned port, to determine the velocity of the air leaving through it, and any time you're playing a frequency where the sub's moving faster than the air can leave the port, it's also creating pressure inside the box

that's what keeps it form flopping around, the physical assembly of the speaker itself can't support it, cause subs are so **** heavy, and move so far.

i'd go with a single ported, for the wow factor, as well as the rediced cost in only running one, as well as only powering one.

With a good box, youll be surprised at how crappy that visonik bandpass really is

lol
