I want to learn how to build my own subwoofer, help!

So I want to learn about building subs. I hear people selling motors or baskets and what not and I hear people do recone's with different brands than the original.

I have some JL 12W6V1's that I could mess with and a Treo TE, but I don't know jack about it.

Anyone have a link to a beginners guide, or that can throw some info my way?
