hey guys, I have a new project car.
the entire trunk is taken up by the hydraulic pumps and batterys.
the rear package area is where the rear cylinders poke up thru there
so there is just NO room at all for any kind of box to go in the car.
that being figured out - I decided to go get a single RE 8 to stick in the rear deck and play free air. since its being powered by an old rockford fosgate punch a2 mono amp. I hooked it up ( dual 4 ) in a 8 ohm configuration so the sub will hardly recieve any power at all, to help with the fact that its basicly back there playing free air. my amp states to give off 200w rms at 2 ohms and 100w rms at 4 ohms. so is the sub actually going to get about 50w rms from this amp at 8 ohms on some 14.4v electrical that the car has running ? it sounds good - and I do see some decent amounts of excursion from the sub with no signs of mechanical limits being reached but again id like to know your oppinions of this running in my ride.
here is the car. will snap a pic of the setup in a bit
