yeah i noticed the hifonics are power hungry, I was only getting 12.9v at it even when the bass hit.

OK so what would be the solution to my problem.

yeah i put it at the A with a dotted line not the squiggly one

The DMM should be set on V with a "squiggly" line for AC volts, the speaker outputs are AC.

OK so i went and tried to do it again and i set the dmm at V~ 200 and i was only getting 5.7 not 50.9 AND the gain is all the way to the end at 0.2v -.-"""

You really need to use a True RMS DMM to set the gains, if the DMM isn't True RMS that could be the problem.

umm , if you didnt know that the wavy line is ac and the straight one with dots under it is DC and you needed to be on VOLTAGE not amperage to read volts............................you should STAY AWAY FROM YOUR WIRING FOREVER!!! LOL

Are the speakers attached or not? The fact that you are getting anything at all says that the majority of the amp's systems are working. Won't some amps not behave properly without a load? Install the speakers and wire and check again AFTER turning the amp gain all the way back down...
