I think I was just expecting to much.

I finally finish my install. 2 2510 on a sundown 3000. It sounds good, but not as loud as I thought it was going to be. I had 4 DD1508 on an AQ2200, and althought it was 4-8's it was twice as loud with less power. The 2510's are in just under 3 cubes ported to 38Hz. I think I might try to put 2 buckets (there's a bench there right now), and redo the box for 2 12s.

Oh by the way, this setup is in a '05 chevy crew cab. My build thread is in the build section somewhere, LOL.

before going with 2 12's rebuild the box.

drop it down to around 2.6ft before disp @ 40-42hz

vic hit me up...i'll come take a look at it for you...
Thx for the offer man. I'll keep you updated with what happens. I'm looking at making a few changes. The main ones being making the box alittle smaller (2 cubes) and going to a slot port to get 41 sq" of port area vs. the 25 sq" I had with the areo's. Also, i'm going to have the port face up as opposed to the side where it didn't have much room. I'm also going to put a whole new face/baffle on the box. Hopefully these changes will make the difference i'm looking for. otherwise, the 10"s are gone and i'm doing something different, lol.

ever get that volt meter installed?
No, I havent had a chance yet to do that, lol I'm redoing the box first to make sure i'm not going to have to do something drastic like a blow thru, lol. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yea the box is a lil big....and not enough port area....16 sq in of port area per cube...so at 2.6 you would need 41.6 sq in. of port....so 2 4" aeros arent going to cut it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i got 1 aq sdc 2.5 10 which is close to the 2510s you have.I have 1.2 cubes plus the port(25 sq in by 23 inches long. its very loud for the 250 watts i got pushing it.So try more port since you already havr the big box...if that dont work,go with less air space.

Well what I'm going to do is add more port area with a slot port. Which in turn will eat up some air space to bring the size down some. My final drawing gives me 44sq" of port area, and about 2.4 cubes. I should have it done late today, if not then by tomorrow. Problem is IT'S FOCKIN HOT OUTSIDE TODAY!!!! HAHAHAHA
