400 clean watts shouldnt even move the btls that much. watch his vids you can tell their clipping at some poinst in the vid you can alomost smell the coils...lol

Doesn't a square wave have the same amplitude as a sine wave? Doesn't this mean the peak will be the same? Doesn't this mean the sub would move the same distance? Hmmm.....

yup, and we all surf and dance hula...btw, did you watch the vids??? braddah man says 800WATTS like its cool...i got more going to my single 12...and plan on pushing 1500 (eventually 3000) to my sx hybrid.

lakota doing 151 with a single type R 15 in a truck (extended cab) and there is a pic about half way down of his setup, and i believe he hit 151 at 45hz so no its not a fart box either, its possible.

thats a headrest score....... how off is headrest from sealed at the dash...

the sx was the first real sub i ever heard, it was like the heavens opened up and the car audio god smacked me across the back of the head and went "what the **** have you been listening to up intill this point"

nope.. because like audioholic said a clean 800 watts has the potential to be 1600 dirty clipped watts inturn giving it the abiltty to move the sub more.... thus the movement hapening in his vids off of 800 watts...

ive never tried headreast score.....ive claciulated kick door open to be about 3-5 db from sealed at eh dash depending on the car.....

Yes, the coil sees alot more power, but the max distance it moves away from the center point is the same. This is what causes it to sound like crap, increasing the amplitude but cutting off the wave tops, effectively keeping the same amplitude and changing the shape of the waves.
