i think i just ****ed somin up(sundownz help!)

ok so i hooked the subs i found last night u. first i hooked them up to the amp they were with and it is stuck in protect. just like i thought, i had a feelin somin was wrong with that amp. next i hooked it up to my sundown prototype amp that i bought from jacob. they beat for a sec then stopped playin. the amp doesnt have any warning lights just a power light. i use this amp to push my w6 every day. but now it wont do anythinng. the power light comes on but no sound comes out.

i have done coutless installs so i no what i am doing. the only think i can think of id that the amp isnt 2 ohmss stable. but i could swear my jl is at 2 ohms.

they are dual 4 wired in series, how would i get 1 ohm.

im not sure what the amp is stable at. like i say it was just a prototype he let me get. it is an awesome little amp until now
