Holy shit there are a lot of people here who don't know how to calculate volume...

Gross: 13.75 cubes

After wood thickness: 11.65 cubes

After subs: ~11.25cubes

This leaves easily 3 cubes+ for a port, which especially with an AQ tuning of 38-42hz will give you a relatively large port, no need for aero's. You can easily get 150 sq in @38hz with >9cubes net still...

Why did you tune so high? Would you recomend aeros or just a normal port made on the box?

I tuned to 38hz because thats what AQ recommended for music. I was skeptical tuning so high, but after listening to it i have no regrets.

I chose aeros because of space limitations (they take up less displacement and you can get away with much less port area). Haven't done a direct comparison between the two, so i really can't give a recommendation one way or another. Aero's are bit more expensive though if you decide to go that route.
