I remember my first sub....

(2) 12" Audiobahns in there bandpass enclosure. Power Acoustik 980/2. Everyone at my school thought it was pretty sweet...HAHA

Man I remember when I use to think Audiobahn was like the Mercedez of car audio.

my first sub was a 10" mtx, thunder 6000 sealed. i ran it on a kenwood bridged 4 channel, then later i added two more and ran a different amp. the changes from then on are just insane. new subs every month, lol.

I can't figure out how somebody can incorrectly use there/their/they're; you're/your; and then/than. It blows my mind away. It can't be a lazy thing because even when I'm lazy, I don't use the incorrect word. I may misspell something but ****... I know the ****ing difference.

LOL! I had a pair of these sealed running off a LA bolt 150.2!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
dude no way! that was my first system setup too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif i got complaints from my neighbors and i told em "jeez it's only a 150 watts"

Let's see, I don't have any pictures, but I went through a weird progression. My first subs, were a pair of crappy 6.5" Bazooka bass tubes given to me by my neighbor. He had a 10" bass tube in his 87' Maxima (old school style). I just connected them to my rear speakers and eventually blew the amps on the rear. I had an 89' Maxima with Bose. Switched out my whole system to a Kenwood Tape deck, MB Quart 5.25" Components, MB Quart 6x9s and a Phoenix Gold XS4600 amp. I eventually eliminated the 6x9s in favor of a cheap Lanzar Bandpass with an American flag on the front. I bridged the rear channels of my amp to run it. It blew in a week. I went to Tweeter the same weekend and bought a Boston Acoustics prefabbed Bandpass for $150. Asked them for some new wire that the gave me for free, and hooked it up in the parking lot. After that I bought some Focal polykevlar 6.5" components to replace the MB Quart's and made door pods for them. I also bought a JVC cd player from a coworker for $60. Those were nice until my accident.
