JL W0 or W1 12, plugged into a home surround system by Akai. 1998 or so. Worked all summer painting with my dad to afford those *****es. I would of been about 10.

Eventually sold it later that year to a guy who had like 10 of them in sealed box in the back of a Suburban, powered by a US Amps Double D.

Didn't even know what that thing was back then, just knew it weighed about as much as me.

my cousin gave me a pair of Jensen XS1212 12" subs in a ghetto box he built. I wired switches into the positive speaker wires so i could turn them off, and hooked them up to the stereo in my room.

As far as my car, the MTX Road Thunder triple-ten sealed setup and Kenwood amp in my sig. Paid $150 for the whole setup from a friend of mine.

yeah, i got them in my dads basement, i think its time to take them out and see if they can be salvaged, if so, these going into a custom built box.

my first system was 4 orion xtr 12's, all altec lansing mid and highs,,a hcca225 on the mids and highs and a hcca2100? i think on the subs,,,big long red amp back in 95,,was pretty loud in a geo storm gsi with no back seat,,lol
