I ran into a problem

I dont think its in the amp. Or least i really hope not. I dont even want to think about this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
If you got the amp on eBay, there is a high chance that the amp is the problem.

I got my Slash 500.1 on eBay, amp doesnt work properly, now i got to get a NEW circuit board.

NOTE: NEVER BUY ELECTRONICS OFF EBAY. NOT WORTH IT

I have that same headunit. Just push menu and go to setup and you'll see a spot where it says subwoofer or it might be "subw". Make sure it says on.
Thanks for stating that, ill try that tomorrow. I come to the conclusion i lost my manual for my deck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I have had nothing but good luck from ebay, it all depends on where you buy it from. A buddy of mine bought the same amp i have off ebay and it was brand new just as they said and it works flawlessly. Same as every other person that i know that has bought off ebay.

I bought my amp off the classifieds.

My amp was acting the same way. Everything was connected correctly and there was no sound coming from the subs...

Turned out the first jumper wire in the sub encclosure was connected to the wrong terminal... So it was wired incorrectly... Additionally, the gains and db on my amp were set WAY down...

IF it comes to it, take the subs out of the enclosure and check to make sure you have all the wires going to the proper spot...

Late post.

Turns out the problem was with my deck, the rca's on the back of my deck are not in working order. So i swapped my deck out with my brothers. Everything works.

However it seems like i should be getting more bass. When my brother had it hooked up in his truck the bass was louder and alot more impacting. He was running it with an RF 1500bd. But now it seems i have to turn the bass knob all the way up to get the sub to start to bump. We never had the touch the bassknob when it was in his truck. It seems like the sub is either running on one vc or my amp is only giving out half of its power. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

any thoughts ?

I will get up at decent time tomorrow before i go to work and monkey around the wires and see how everything turns out for me. If i cant solve the problem im going to loose my mind.
