Well I just ordered my comps a little while ago from thezeb.com and they should be here by the end of the week hopefully. Now what im debating now is, should I make an adapter plate from MDF and place the speakers behind the door panels or should I cut my door panels and flush mount them using the supplied grills. I asked this question in another thread I start witht he title, "WWYGD (what would you guys do)". But considering it is no longer recieving any attention from the 100+ ppl on the forum as of right now, I decided to make a whole new thread, thank for your time and please leave your comments on what I should do.

i was thinking about mounting mine with the grills also (cause magnets 2 big for my 98 2dr cavi, and window dont shut all the way down) got them type r 5 1/4" comps, how do u flush mount them?? jus cutout a whole and mount em in or mount em 2 mdf and mount the mdf 2 the door......cause they heavy

but personally id go with mounting them behind the door, only reason i wanna flush mount is like wat i sed, windows dont open all the way down, but its winter so ill wait till it heats up outside b4 i change em up heeheh

They should work. I have 6.5s in my lower door to replace the 8" subs that came with my mustang. They are fantastic, and outperform the 6 x 8s...
