CDT 6.5” comps installed

Got my comps installed a little over a week ago and got everything tuned last weekend by my boy Trevor. I’m very happy with the way these CDT’s are sounding. My 12” Icon has never sounded better.

Man Just enough room on the Mids/ LOL Nice and very clean install. Looks amazing man. Ill bet it does sound good. Ive liked all but the CL series CDT Ive tried and have. Great speakers

Yeah, they barely fit. The reason there is a half circle on top of the trim ring is to cover the top of the stock 4” grill. We couldn’t mount the 6.5’s any higher because of the clearance with the dash with the door closed.

Only other option was to do custom fiberglass pods at the bottom of the doors but the installer estimated 8 hrs per door and I didn’t want to spend $1500 to do that.

They look better in person than the pics show. Very happy with the results.
