Resonating Reticular
Right now I have 2 JBL GTO1002D's running off a Boss 1200M getting ~300 RMS a piece, probably less.
Right now, they're in a triple-chambered sealed box (made out of 1/2" MDF) with about .75 cuFt for the two sub chambers with empty space inbetween. Subs are faced toward the back of the seat (aka toward cab)
I did the math when I was building the box, and I figured it would be about right size (a bit on the small size) for the nominal ported box.
The reason I used 1/2" MDF was because the opening to my trunk is tiny, and it was my first box. I know, "USE 3/4"!!!!!" And I plan to when I get more power.
How the box is now, it's just a simple box with a facade in the front, more or less, to go flush with the back of my chairs.

My options:
I was sketching this out a while ago:
Sub down, port back, or just sealed.
(With this build, I'd put through-bolts in the top and then attach it to my rear shelf... but put the nuts inside of the box so that you can't just unscrew it and leave.)
I was also thinking, sub back, with/with out port back, and how the facade is now, except double chamber it so there's a space inbetween the actual outside of the sub box and the amp rack... here's a quick sketch:
(The dimensions aren't perfect, like I said, rough sketch. That amp obviously wouldn't fit there with the seats up, I'd make sure the top offset is enough for the amp to have room to breathe.)
Any ideas?
