I need your opinions on this issue please

Well I'm going to wall off my truck. and I still want to be able to see behind me ( Atlanta traffic is only 2nd to the traffic you see in NY. ) So what I have considered is to put a new rear view camera and do a replacement of my current rear view mirror with a screen. Something like this

I can pick up that exact screen with a 120 degree wide angle camera for around 140 bucks. and just have the rear view camera a constant and not just when its in reverse... Possible?

also may put another flip out back in the truck. But i think having the rear screen with a back up camera would work because the wall obviously cant see out the back. And its def a necessity here around town. opinions, Pro's Cons?

That link doesnt even look like a real product. Id be worried i'd get something in the mail that isnt what I thought it would look like....but thats just me.

In my Jeep, I put a 8" screen where my head unit used to be (I use an external head unit for competitions, so I didnt need the big hole in the dash) I bought one of those $30 camera's off of fleabay and I leave it on 24/7......for 2 years now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif They degrade if you leave them on that long of a time, or so I've found. So if you wire one up make sure it turns off switched with power or something.

well the unit is legit. I don't know why but the link I gave the pic they use has a different image than the one I can get. As for the length of time. I would be using it on an ignition power source. so the camera would be on only when the truck is on. so I figured I'd basicly use the screen and camera in place of my rear view mirror because the wall will cover the window lol.
