I need your help guys... I want to upgrade

2 12 IDQv.3 or 2 12 BA G5 = $500 good SQ and loud, you don't have to spend money to upgrade again for long time and happy like me.
what kind of music/specific songs do you listen to?

I need something that can handle/keep up with double bass drums.

idq's good? what are those 'd level' subs people keep talking about //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

good sq subs are id subs (listed above) aq subs, like 10s maybe 12 in a good sealed enclosure and re ses in a sealed box. also a dc level 3 in a good sealed box. i only recomend sealed in this situation because i like to listen to some metal also and it just doesnt sound right in ported boxs. if thats all u listen to then u will be just fine with sealed and about 500-1000 rms

Alright thanks, I guess I'll go with a sealed box!

I just thought ported would be louder.

I was thinking like one 15'' and 2 8'' or something but idk anything about a system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

so should i go with the id's, dc's, re's, or type r's ?

ported would be louder but all the double bass notes will sound like they are run together and not be as efficient. sealed is not as loud but way better for that kind of music
you've obviously never heard a decent sub in a good ported enclousure. I play plenty of stuff with fast double kicks and my shit keeps up no problem...

And I can make people's hair move //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I want what YOU have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

whats your setup?

most of the peoples on here go for SPL shit, i have tried so many subs in the past include W6 and W7 nothing better than IDQ, smooth bass, deep, clean etc... put them in the seal box 1.0cu each chamber internal and give them enough power, they sound good in every thing you listen to, you wont regrets.

im sure u can but sealed would be better sq. i dont think u can make a better sq system with ported as u can sealed.

how much is enough?

should I get a pair of rainbow KX coaxials? (someones selling a pair for 75$).

That seemed like a pretty good deal to me?

Or are there better components for around that price?

Should I get a pair of 8'' subs for midbass?

or will my rear JL evolution 6x9's be enough for mid bass?

This thread can't be serious. Meh, I'm bored as hell so I'll play along. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you buy any of the ultra high-end stuff, be sure to share your home & work addresses and a description of your vehicle (including plate #) with the rest of us. Your work and sleeping schedule would be pretty valid information as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
