yo enzyte! haha but then reading i have NO CLUE where 2 get sumthn like this. my best idea would be to go to a guitar building forum! for real! cuz acoustic guitars are made outa mahogany! try it c what happens.

When we need that stuff at work (cabinet shop) we just go to a local lumber yard.

But be careful, mahogany is a lot of times under tension.

If you start ripping it and it has a lot of flex in it, then return it. When it cost that much, don't pay for wood grown under tension.

Sometimes you can tell based on the grain pattern.

I'm gunna build an electric guitar... based roughly off a Fender and Epiphone blend. It should look dope... might do some sketches tomorrow.

I tried to find some local lumber yards, but I can't find any in Miami. It's retarded. But, I'll definitely complain if the wood isn't good quality. How much would a block that size cost?

I read somewhere the best quality in terms of sound is a Mahogany / Maple mix.
