I need to use my remote turn on lead for about 3 sources, is it a problem?

Alright, I have a little setup with a PA A3000DB, and 2 sets of the Dual's in that bandpass box, with the cool little lights and stuff...

Contrary to popular belief, they do wang. And since I'm broke right now, looks like I'm stuck with them... But on the Late night, I want to stunt when I'm downtown, so I need the lights...

Now in my 99 Yukon, the rear speakers have their own factory amplifier, so I know my remote turn on lead is already supplying voltage for 2 amps, now would wiring these 2 lights to the remote turn on lead wire burn out my system, or should I be fine?

hope to get this a sticky. just a quick diagram to ponder.

useing a standard 12volt automotive 30/40 amp SPDT (single pole double throw) relay (found at radio shack, auto zone etc)

viewing the under side. take a look at the terminals sticking out. (in the pic below)

they are number as

#86: this is the + side of the relay, power source from the radio/etc.

#85 this is the - side. goes to ground

#30 this is usualy the power source that comes in from the battery

#87 this is what will go to your amps. this is linked to #30 only when the relay IS energized.

#87A this terminal is liked to #30 when the relay is NOT energized.

in a nutshell

basic layout of how to wire a relay for amp/fan/lights turn on useing the radio.
just like this

use the remote turn on to triger a relay with 12+ from the batt.

Why can't it be simple?

How do I do this?

What do you think about wiring it directly to the speaker terminals? So it will flash along with the bass???

I know that it'll be getting more along the lines of 50 volts as opposed to 12, but hey... Would it work?

he wants to be stunnin in downtown Buffalo...
Yep, right on Chippewa st...

You already know... Cold as hell, with all of my windows down, well at least the front ones....
