Ok, I need to buy an amp with a budget of $150. I want to power a Swiss Audio Dual 12" bandpass box with 800 watts max at 4Ohms for the speakers combined, so the combined rms at 4 Ohm is 400. So...What amp should i buy with the budget i have and get the best results for my system?

i would suggest the same amp i got, a crunch P2250 off of http://www.etronics.com for like 100$ 120$ with shipping. others will most likely disagree with me but my crunch amp provides good clean power.

Screw the Crunch amp. Go for a Pioneer GM-X962. $140 at onlinecarstereo.com. It puts out 380 bridged at 4 ohms.

k what you avhe there is a pair of 400 watt max single voice coil 4 ohm subs..

that means you avhe wiring options of 2 ohms or 8 ohms mono..

(or 4 ohms stereo, but mono tends to work best for subs..)

an amp that puts out say 350 watts RMS (i wouldnt trust those subs to handle much more) try JBL 300.1

try a Lanzar, good amps, good price, Vibe series...

but check out the JBL, probably the best amps out there for the dolalrs...

will a jbl 300.1 be enough to power an adire tempest (750 RMS) to make it BOOM? also, is SPL or Soundstorm a good amp company?

I'd say step up to a jbl 600.1.

I would recommend JBL before either of those..

go with the 600.1 if you wnat it to boom..
