I need a 12" sub

I need to upgrade from a power acoustik 124x mofo.

I have a cab.1600

any suggestions and links would be appreciated!

anything but soundqubed/aq

budget is 250.

Shipping a real 1500W woofer to Hawaii won't be cheap either.

Better look locally. Shipping alone will be $100 easy or up your budget by $150-$200 more

Won't A "better" 12 inch woofer probably Require higher handling power than what your cab amp can provide. Perhaps an ab xfl or an hd but that hd takes you a bit over budget.

is American bass hd12d1 a good sub? never heard this brand in person I see people talk about it on this forum. I feel that's in my budget and amazon would ship for free. or any other suggestions maybe I'll up my budget to 400?

They won't ship to Hawaii for free I'm pretty sure. Also Amazon dealers are authorized. So you might end up with a bstock sub or older model

I appreciate your input lol all hawaii has to offer is kicker, pioneer, alpine, Kenwood //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I mean worse comes to worse is the alpine type r a lot better than a power akoustic? would I hear and feel a difference? everyone asking for 275 for it..

I've been checking out subs lately. I don't need much and what I was looking at was apparently "too much" for my application. It is Digital Designs DD 2012. It goes for about $330. If not that, maybe even look at the LE-M12, which even includes the enclosure and goes for about $270. I really don't know much about subs, but everything I've read and heard says these guys make pretty good subs.

If you do not know them, Google search DD Audio.
