I need professional help!!

I really really need some help. I'm trying to build a ported slotted box for a speaker I just got (Cadence ZRS 12-600-D4. It was a hand me down in a sealed crap box. The PDF manual for the sub I found is for a 40hz port tuning vented box but I want between 32-35hz.

WINISD seemed simple at first but then holy port noise batman, things started getting super complicated. Is there anyone who is a master of the program tell me what box measurements I would need to get a nice mellow sound out of this speaker?

I would super appreciate it man. I drive a 93 Pajero so I got a bit of trunk space but id like it if I could keep some. If anyone can help please hook a Rasta up. Thanks. Blessings grom Jamaica.

I'm not a professional by any means, but if you are having port noise, then that means the port is too narrow. It's generally recommended to have 16 square inches per cubic foot of box, you can be a little above an below by a few inches if you need to accommodate your design.

There is a ton of info online, just begin researching how to build a ported box. Then start experimenting, cause even though when winisd says it is a good design, sometimes it doesn't translate to the real world.
