okay i am able to sell my 3 mags for 800 canadian currancy and get 2 10" alpine r-types with there box in the trade.

taht is a **** sweet deal but i am having trouble deciding.

i mean i could sell the alpines and box down here for like 300 bucks or so also.

if i did this i would probably buy a pair of 18's.

anyone have sudgestions on 18's? i was thinking like xxx or sx.

i have about 9-12 cubes to work with.

in the end i will have 3500-4000 rms running at 2 ohms.

either that or keep my mags and run them at1.3 ohms(if that amp will take it) or 3 ohms.

what do you guys think?

i love the mags,they sound great but a deal like that is awsome and the 18's would be louder.

**** this is hard on my head,jus add your 2 cents if you could.

So all in all, you're basically paying $650 CAD for the Type R's ... and you'll turn around and sell them for $300 ... so you loose $350.*

* - 3 Mags = $300/driver + $50/driver (shipping) + $50 (duty/tax/brokerage ... just to get me a rounded number ... I'm sure it was much, much more ...) = $1100 USD.

$1100 USD = $1450 CAD

$1450 - $800 = $650

Don't forget that the mags are used. If you want to sell them I bet he can't get more than 200 US a piece. So that is 600 USD. I think 800 Canadian + 300 Canadian is better than 600 USD.

I guess it just boils down to whether or not you want to sell them. A pair for 18's would be sick though. Or even just 1 18 with 3000+ watts =o
