I need new tweeters......

I am looking for some .75" 4 ohm or under tweeters to fit in my car.The reason they have to be around .75" is to fit in the a-pillars of my G37. I have a set of JL C5 650 tweeters now. They sound good but I want a little more top end. I really like the Focal sound but the the impedance on their tweeters is generally 6ohms or more. I am looking to stay under $150 for the pair.

To integrate better with the Bose system in my car. I don't want to replace the whole system, I have added a sub and 500/1, so I replaced the tweeter combined with the crossover from the JL C5 650 set. It did sound better. I just a little more high end than the C5 650 tweeter has. The Bose tweeter and midrange are 4 ohms each, so I want to stay as close to that as possible.

I guess I am asking is, what .75" or small form factor 1" tweeters would be a step up from the JL C5 650 tweeters.....under $150?

you want something that small to sound better then what you have??

most good sounding tweeters are 25-30mm.

I think cdt has a 19mm tweeter.

I wouldnt waste my money cdt tweeters

I think JL's tweeters are made by LPG which is a good company.

If you are looking for more top end you will need to go to a larger tweeter 25-30 at least.

you should measure to see if you can fit a 25mm or bigger tweeter in place of the 19mm.

I can fit a tweeter with a total diameter of 1 3/4", so that my include some 1" tweeters. I know that pretty much all .75" tweeters will fit, but the 1" tweeters, I am not sure about.

These tweeters are basically the exact same size/sound as the JL XR series tweets, and this guy only wants $40 shipped for the gently used pair.

These will definitely give you the top end you're looking for, and they're good quality tweeters.

I had checked out Madisound and looked into these already. The problem with these are their impedence of 8 Ohms. That's double what I need to match the level of my current tweets of 4 Ohms.

If your tweeter is 3/4-19mm/1-25mm/1 1/2-30mm

just a ruler & measure the area, side to side & front to back
