if he just needs a low profile tire, the fuzion is perfect. it isnt a super high performance tire, which i highly doubt he needs one, but it has the appearance of one. for a daily driver, the fuzion is a better tire. the bf wont last half as longGoodyear Eagle F1's are one of the most expensive tire out there, kinda overrated if you ask me, 4 tires for $280 sounds good to me, check out the BFG G-Force Sports, they are good performance tires and decent priced, I work at Americas Tire Co. and we sell alot of the G-Force's and haven't had any complaints yet.... also pretty much any Michelin is a gonna be a good tire
i have had lots of sets of low pros, but i also have 35" bf muds on my truck, and my dads truck has the 33" muds (he had the 33" at's before though.I will vouche for the wear on the BFG's, they don't tend to last long... but then again its a performance tire, most of them aren't gonna be able to get great mileage out of them, I have 32" BFG All-terrains on my truck so low pros aren't my specialty haha, I had a guy come in to my work that had 108,000 on his AT's, love truck tires //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
they look a lot better than the AT's to me. i think i am maybe going with the interco iroks next though. i was going to put AT's back on my dads truck, but you couldnt find them anywhere in 33x12.50x16.5. they were on backorder for a long time, plus 16.5 is getting outdated quickly. goodyears ****, interco is too much for him (he hates the noise and ride), pro comps ****, and the BF mud is a good tire, wears ok, and doesnt make too much noise. we were having problems with the ATs wearing weird and getting out of round.Yeah the muds look aggresive, but for mostly street driving they ****, depending on the vehicle they kill your ride, IMO the All-Terrains are the best bang for the buck all around, they do great in the snow too
what kind of tires are you looking at? my dad is going to have to put tires on his car pretty soon, it will be around 1000 bucks, and those generally last only 15-20k since the fronts are rears are different sizes and you can only rotate them side to side, and it tends to make you stick your foot in it.running 275/45r20 zr1s right now. since i'm lowering the truck soon (2/3 drop) i need to get shorter tires to avoid rubbing the fenders in front. going down to 275/35s, not cheap.
$280 is great for any set of 4 tires, i'm looking at $600 for just 2//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
