This isn't a for sale tread, I'm looking for something to replace it. I'd like to find another 944 or a 924 becuase I would have a ton of parts, love these cars, but the one I got aint worth the investment to repair, especialy on my wage... But maybe it's time to move to something else?

I wanna spend around 5-7000 (the cheaper the better) on something that is:

1. Fairly sporty. I want to be able to beat most ricers and be able to have some fun in the curves. MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS ONLY. **** autos.

2. Will fit a 6'9" guy... Many cars are VERY VERY VERY uncomfortable for me to get in. This eliminates alot of options unless customization is involved. This eliminates to my knowledge all Ford Mustangs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif My crown Vic was no peach either, unless I got a civ version with power seatts or had some installed. Nissans are also iffy, even though a 300ZX is my dream car (small dreams huh?)

3. Gas mileage... Best as possible, I drive alot. Alot. Too much.

4. Aftermarket and domestic parts availability and cheapness. I like to wrench a little, bolt ons can be fun.

5. Ease of stereo-ifying.

Just looking for ideas. It hurts me alot to get rid of my daily driver/baby even though it's in rough shape.

How are the Mitsubishi 3000GT's/Stealths?

I'd also like reliability as a part of the picture //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I am thinking of an older 5 series BMW.

What about a late 80's 944 turbo? A buddy of mine has one and you might be able to find one around that price range. Also, it will kill just about all the ricers out there. And my mustang can't keep up with it yet:furious:

None around me right now for the right price anyway, they are like 10k or more... The 951 are worth the money but I ain't got it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif They just deleted my thread.. I guess they didn't like it.

I found a '98 528i BMW around where I live for about 9k!

It has a 5 speed and everything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think I might just buy it.

VW corrado if you can find one that was maintained.
2400lbs. with 173hp stock, and 28+mpg.

Has to be a 91, 92, or 93, tho, older ones are a supercharged 4, and aren't reliable at all.
I don't fit in them very well at all if I remember correctly. I almost bought one in 2003, It had a superchargeed VR6 but my parents wouldn't co-sign the loan. It was a huge steal, like $7300 for a '92.

Actually, I'm looing at this car:
