what should i ask for for christmas from my parents?

i honestly have no idea. i want to ask them for the alpine RUX-C701 and alpine PXA-H701... i can get them for the rght price, but is that what i should really do? it will finally complete my car stereo for good. i dont need anything else to finally have the setup ive always wanted to have...

but is there anything else i could ask for that i would be just as happy with? im a 20 year old guy who is going to end up doing somthing other than a fulltime job and college in the immideate future (navy most likely), so i dont know if i should ask for somthing else. its most likely going to be my last xmas living at home... and ill be on duty for the next few years... they are looking at getting my brother THIS TELEVISION for his computer\tv\ps3 screen so i have a good budget.

any ideas of sotmhing that i could ask for that would be worth it? even small other things non-stereo related? (and no i dont want an f*cking ipod or a new computer).

You can't get a H701/C701 for xmas because that's what I'm likely getting, and I want to be special.

Are your parents rich? They're going to spend $1400 on both you and your brother? Geesh...

Anyways, what else do you want? What else are you into?

as far as what else i do, i really just go to work and exercise when i can. like i said- it looks like ill be going into the navy in a few months... so i dont know if i want to get anything furnature wise. i just cant think of anything else that i want to have...

I say just get the alpine RUX-C701 and alpine PXA-H701. Thats what you seem to want. And concidering that you are more than likely goin into the Navy soon...Things like tools and furniture are not good options. Just get the audio equipment that you want...If you leave for the Navy the equipment is not going to "run away" It will be there when you return.

thats just what i was thinking.

is there anything that i could take with me that im not thinking about? i was considering a portable music player because of the fact that its going to be dificult to find a place to get music when im on a boat... i dont know what their rules about small media devices are though... but i do know there will be many times where i just wanna be alone on my time off and chill... and music is a great way to get away from that kind of situation...

i think that might also be on the top of the list. because if i dont get the processors - ill end up buying them anyway (lol hopefully there is a signon bonus lol)
